lol John Major. That would be like one of those cards you get you'll feel certain will be very valuable but the player washes out of the league and is forgotten to history and the 25 cent discount bin.

I got a $250 Visa from work because I've been there for 10 years, so I'm gonna spend it on cards :olol: I also got a certificate, wow!

I was thinking basketball but I honestly have no idea what to buy these days and everything is super expensive :(

A certificate!

Getting started can be tough unless you know what you want to collect. A specific team or teams? Star players? Rookies? Everything?

There are some cheaper things that can be bought. EB have some stuff.

Chronicles is a good place to start. It's just rookies and stars in a bunch of different sets.

Thanks for the info, cheers.

That place is just down the road from my work, it's walking distance. But I'm not in the office anyway :olol:

EDIT: As for what I want to get, I dunno at this point I need to figure it out

LOL at the auto he got.

I've got a box coming. Women's Division is usually a fairly boring set but there are some decent autos in it.

That's cool. Nice price.

I like Chronicles, there are some nice looking cards in it. It contains sets that are either used in other sports like NFL or it's stuff that used to have their own standalone release but don't now, like Threads. It's a good way to build up a rookie collection.

It's weird seeing him without facial hair.

Apparently the pre-order price for Panini WWE Prizm is US$700. Steel City Collectibles have it listed at US$900. That's fucked.

@Skynet One thing I forgot to mention the other day about collecting, that you might already know, is that stores like Cherry sell hobby editions of boxes, which are more expensive than the retail boxes that places like EB/JB etc. sell. You can get bigger hits and different inserts in hobby which is why they cost more but for stuff like Hoops & Donruss you might as well go for retail because it's not that much different.

Yeah I had a look at Cherry quickly and various hobby boxes. Got a meeting tomorrow which could result in no job, so I'll put a stop to card collecting for now. :olol:

Oh shit, that sucks. Cards are a bit less important than that.

3 years of Panini and then back to Topps/Fanatics.

The checklist for WWE Prizm has been released. Bret, Stone Cold, Hulk, Batista & Sheiky baby are some of the autos.
