Rich takes a look at the latest Intel monster - the Core i9 10900K. It's the king of the hill for gaming, but is it actually that much faster than the i7 10700K and its last-gen equivalent, the Core i9 9900K? And what about Ryzen? All the info and opinion is right here.

Lol. These YouTubers probably haven't been into technology for long enough to remember that in the old days, a base idle temp for any single AMD product was like 140, and that's before you did anything with it.
At least they have the performance to match the heat these days.

Looking at all the heat, and prices, Im happy to play with the parts and do builds for other people still, but I won't buy any of them.

Still a surface or an Ultrabook in my future.
I don't want to upgrade my daily PC, it's been bulletproof for 8 years while countless other newer computers have come and gone, but lately it's showing some issues, and I don't want a tinkerer or problems on a daily, I want it to fucking work.
AMD historically don't just work, they need constant attention.

Long live the portable computer!
