at last people with an X or S can play the proper Goldeneye Xbox game, others like me will have to stick to PC, the Rare Replay ones fun but if the nostalgia wears off then.....

Nintendo emulators as an official steam release???

Who will win, Nintendo's Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad, or Valves fortress made of piles of layers of cash?

I'd place my bet on the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad, but usually they're great at taking out fan made games making a pittance off the 49,000 hours the fan spent making it and not the tower of GabeN who can afford to hurl solid gold bars at them from the top of his impenetrable cash stack fortress untill the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad have to retreat.

It's all part of the App Store-ification of everything, no one wants to (or sometimes can't) grab an executable from a dirty old ZIP file anymore. That said, I'm really excited about Steam Cloud for cross-device saves.

I'm assuming that the Dolphin devs watched Retroarch's release on Steam to see if the ninja lawyers would appear. Technically, that had a fairly crappy Dolphin core on Steam for a few years.

SBEMU is a new DOS program that emulates a Sound Blaster card. It uses its own sound handling code to playback DOS game audio natively on modern hardware – magic!

If you have an Intel ICH chipset or Intel High Definition audio, it should just work.

Amazing work by crazii. You can grab SBEMU here:

Fuck it, all those classics should be in the PUBLIC DOMAIN by now, but Disney bribed a ton of politicians in the 70s or something.

Dolphin, the popular Nintendo GameCube and Wii emulator has been removed on Steam due to a DMCA complaint from Nintendo. In this episode I take a closer look at what's gone down and why Dolphin is in potentially some legal trouble.

I would say/show surprised Pikachu face, but don't want to be stripped of what little I own by the Ninja Lawyer Hitmen Squad.

But every single person on earth would have to know that would happen right?
Especially the people making the emulator?
