The XFL actually started because the CFL turned down Vince McMahon's offer to buy them (they only offered him ownership of the Toronto team.) So it would be pretty funny if Dwayne Johnson accomplished yet another one of Vince's unrealized dreams.

Folding after COVID and a weirdo bid to merge with the XFL would be a shitty way to go for an old league like the CFL.

I'm guessing that the CFL will switch to 4 downs if this partnership involves anything on the field. I'm okay with that, but please don't take away the presnap movement from the wide receivers. I think it's cool that they get a 5-yard running start before a play.
