Re: Futurama Retrospective | A Turbulent Past
An hour fucking 10? sum the video up in 30 words for me.
Y'know since it won't teach me a single fact or tidbit I didn't already learn, forget and learn and forget a second time...
I also had a friend link me to a recent syfy article with Maurice Lemarche which talked about a reboot.
They need to leave it the fuck alone. Each time it came back it was shit, and then each time JUST as it got good again, they shit canned it again.
If I may borrow from the GOOD Simpsons: (which existed untill the day Futurama aired)
I've watched Futurama reboots so many times, the words have lost all meaning...
We've got to do the Futurama Reboot again Milhouse!
BUT WE ALREADY DID IT!
IT TOOK SEVEN REBOOTS, BUT WE DID IT.
IT'S DONE!!

Just put it on in the background.
It's a video retrospective about Futurama and it's turbulent past.
10 words!
I've only watched the first 10 minutes so far. Seems alright.

No background!!!
Entertainment is meant to be a distraction from shitty life... If entertainment needs to be put on in the background, then it is SHIT entertainment.
Futurama Didn't have a Turbulent past.. It got picked up on Fox and survived 4 production Seasons - 5 airing seasons (More than most shit) then came back not once, not twice, but thrice!!
When you're done, just give me the gist of it.

Well put it on in the foreground then.
That's not true. It's good to have things on in the background while playing Switch or surfing around.
And it doesn't have to be on in the background, but if 70 minutes is too long for you it's an easier way to do it.

It is true though.. I can have countless shows I can put on while playing something.Dr. Zoidberg wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 8:48 pmWell put it on in the foreground then.

And having pawnstars on in the background while I play Mario Kart switch just highlights how shit both of them are.
I didn't need Background noise when playing Super Mario Kart... and I don't need background noise when playing Breath of the Wild.
If something is actually decent enough to stimulate your mind, IE: GOOD ENTERTAINMENT, then you don't need something in the background.
Multi tasking is fine... and I do it often.. but if something is doing it's job properly, I don't need too.
