Has a more new wave styling compared to the version on SOTT. Speaking of which, a super deluxe version of the album will be out in late September, on the 25th if I'm correct.

They need to remaster the SOTT movie too.

I don't believe Warners own the rights to the movie. It has been released on DVD and two different companies have put out Blu Ray versions. So in a sense a remastered version is available. The one with the extra content I've heard is much better & has interviews with band members etc.

I imagine Princes estate does own the rights so if they do partner with Warners on it they could put out a definitive version. I believe the Purple Rain director shot some concert footage that wasn't used for the released version so one with that included and other extras would be cool.

I'm surprised a bit they skipped Parade for a remaster since they could have included some of the demos he did for Mazarati (100mph, Kiss) and others. The Time album Corporate World which was unreleased fits in around this time frame with 'Data Bank' as one of the demos which exists.

A color version of UTCM would be cool too but I think the negatives for the movie are monochrome. So they'd have to put it through a colorisation process like what has been done for Laurel & Hardy movies.

So in a recent watching of an old Rage tape, I was reminded that I really used to love HI-GATE.

And still ADORE gonna work it out:

But listening to both Pitchin and Yomanda just sounds like Da Hools ‘meet her at the love parade’ for poor people. :olol:

Also a classic from those days was Groove Terminator:

I really need to dig up some of those old Ministry of sound CDs god knows where they ended up.

Funnily enough, I've been listening to Pitchin' (In Every Direction) a bit recently and it did remind me of meet Her At The Love Parade. I have them both in a Spotify playlist.

I used to love it all, but now, I just can’t listen to them.
Meet her at the love parade is just timeless, and Pitchin and Yomanda just can’t compete.

But gonna work it out is still awesome because it has a rare occurrence known as ‘November Rain Condition’
Which is when a track that is actually shitty, strings you along for an unreasonable amount of time, and then the payoff is just epic...

Like you’re sitting there for like 7 fucking minutes thinking THIS IS FUCKING HORRIBLE! and then you get rewarded with Slash standing on a piano doing maybe the best solo of all time.

The lead up in Gonna work it out is only 1 Minute, but the payoff is just incredible.
Metallica had November Rain Condition with All nightmare long as well.

It looks like someone released a Blu-ray special edition last year.
