I can see why Sony didn't like Bleem.

The Dreamcast is not only a better system with better games than the PS2, it's also a better PS1 than a PS2 is.

PS2 playing Gran Turismo 2 on the left via COMPOSITE CVBS VS. DC playing Gran Turismo 2 on the right via COMPOSITE CVBS via bleem.

Gran Turismo 2 was always a great game that looked like total ass. (Even worse than 1) Now I can actually play it, because it looks decent to match the rest of the game.

It plays smoother emulating it on DC as well.
Why did it take me 23 years to try bleemcast?!

I suspect if I used my good 17" Monitor and VGA box it would look better than Gran Turismo 4!

From the crowded University of Illinois computer labs to the visionaries at home on their Apple II computers, the mid to late 1970's were a formative time for the RPG video game genre. In this video, we'll take a look at one such focal point: The life of Richard Garriott, and the creation of his "Ultima" series - a work of imagination whose influence can still be easily felt today.

After the release of Ultima, Richard Garriott found himself looking for a publisher. In spite of his unique demands, he'd find a willing partner in Sierra On-Line. This video chronicles the story of Sierra up until (and including) their association with Richard Garriott, and Ultima II: The Revenge of the Enchantress.
