Sounds painful and not a lot of fun.

Corny talks about him a fair bit still. Dave alludes to him on Twitter when talking about people that are "out of touch".

This has clips from last week's match but there's a funny bit at the end with Lulu.

And Mei was there with Emi this week.

How is anybody going to be able to watch two WWE sports entertainers talk at each other for 20 minutes after Punk and MJF? The difference between what they did and WWE does is night and day.

YOUNG BUCKS SIGN NEW LONG-TERM CONTRACTS WITH AEW
BY JOSH NASON | @JOSHNASON | NOV 26, 2021 7:19 AM

Image: AEW

One of AEW's most popular teams since its inception are sticking around a bit longer as the Young Bucks have signed a new long-term deal with the company.

Dave Meltzer reported the news in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, saying that Matt and Nick Jackson's new deal "will keep them with the company through at least 2026." The two are also executive vice presidents.

The former AEW Tag Team Champions have been out of action since this month's Full Gear which, in storyline, has been explained as them not being medically cleared. Nick Jackson has been working through a bone bruise on his heel which got worse following the Full Gear falls count anywhere match that saw the Bucks and Adam Cole lose to Christian Cage and Jurassic Express.

The brothers have been with AEW since the company's founding in 2019 following a breakout run in Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and the indies.

Rocky Romero Explains How Kenny Omega Helped Facilitate The Relationship Between AEW And NJPW

Rocky Romero details how Kenny Omega helped bring AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling together.

After Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks left New Japan to join a startup AEW, their relationship with their former employer became somewhat frayed. Over time, however, the ice has started to melt and the two promotions have started doing more and more work together; whether it be Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, or Lance Archer performing for NJPW or Minoru Suzuki, Tomohiro Ishii, and KENTA appearing on AEW TV.

Appearing on The Battleground Podcast, Rocky Romero explained how Kenny Omega reaching out to New Japan Pro Wrestling was a big step in the right direction and helped facilitate the companies working together. Here are his full remarks:

Well, Tony's [Khan] always been cool. He's always, I feel, been open to the idea, right? Then you have Jericho, who is somebody who's always wanted to make it happen ever since he went over to New Japan to wrestle Tanahashi. That was kind of the beginning of it; Tony giving the okay to bring the AEW belt. That was a thing. So, it kind of started with Jericho. Obviously, Moxley being a guy who's important to both companies and Moxley always wanting to do something and kind of being that main focal point because he wasn't mixed up into the drama of what was going on between AEW and New Japan and wrestlers. Then, the third big component I feel like, besides Tony, was obviously Kenny. Kenny being a part of it. Kenny was one of the ones who reached out first and just said, 'Hey, I know Moxley and KENTA have this thing,' and obviously he had a big rivalry with Moxley as well, so Moxley being the focal point. Kenny and New Japan had their issues as he left New Japan to join AEW, so that was a big step in the right direction. Obviously, Kenny is incredible at what he does. Literally one of the best. He's a true pro and to see the grand picture, he was the one who helped facilitate that amongst, at least the EVP's."

Romero competed against Danielson last week on AEW Dynamite. He was also involved in a pre-show segment, extending an invitation to Orange Cassidy and Best Friends to join New Japan's CHAOS faction.

"Lulu had to return to her home planet"

"Like Poochie?" :olol:

I like Vickie with them. She should be the Cornette style American Advisor like he was to Yokozuna.

So apparently Rhea Ripley is massively unhappy with the WWE. If she asks for or is otherwise given her release, I wonder if we'll see her either in AEW or TNA. She'd be a hell of a draw in both companies but I think AEW might be a little too bloated ATM for her to make an impact, so I'd almost suggest she'd be better off in TNA (then again, Rhea/Baker would probably MOVE THE NEEDLE so I dunno).

The AEW roster is bigger than 1998 WCW. I imagine Tony will make more signings too. AEW need a developmental brand or send people on exercusion to other promotions. The NWA, Impact, ROH, MLW etc would be good places and gives AEW fresh faces from those promotions too if they so choose. Really AEW should be more like the old NWA, an umbrella for other "affiliates" to work under but still be an AEW "product". Because the stockpiling wrestlers mentality will create disharmony since there's only limited spots.
