I think Danielson vs Suzuki might have been better than Danielson vs Omega, or at least equally as great.

That was great.
Danielson back to being the best wrestler in the world after only 2 matches.

The main Rampage show was good too.
Even though they didn't fight for long, I liked Dos Santos/Hager. And that sequence Sammy did which included the cloud cutter looked awesome.

Ted also didn't really care. His request was just that they always have Ric Flair around because he was his favorite wrestler. Other than that I don't think he made a single demand creatively. He didn't even step in when they were burying Ric in 1998.

It rated well and it annoyed Vince that he owned WCW, that's all he probably really cared about.

Junior dos Santos said on ESPN he'd never really seen pro wrestling before coming to AEW but loves it now and wants to train.

That Danielson/Suzuki match was why I love pro wrestling. Lou Thesz and Kobashi would be proud. One point five billion stars.

Jericho: "I wouldn't touch you with your husband's genitalia."
Punk: "I don't believe him I think he would."

Punk: "Fantastic head of hair on that Serena Deeb though I tell ya."
Serena sounded a bit like Sherri Martel in her interview with Tony.

Punk also busting Excalibur's balls about not knowing who the mystery team was but being sure they weren't from AAA was funny.Dr. Zoidberg wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:10 pm Jericho: "I wouldn't touch you with your husband's genitalia."

And apparently the Andrade vs Pac rematch they taped last night for Rampage this coming Friday is another contender for one of the best matches of the year. I can't even keep count of how many MOTY candidates AEW had in 2021. But I think right now my vote would be for Danielson vs Suzuki. I watched it again and it was even better than the first time. And they don't even take bumps, they just stiff the fuck out of each other while loving every second of it because they're both crazy.

AEW are really hitting it out of the park wrestling wise. They just need that extra something to go to the next level. But I don't think the audience is there anymore which considering 5 million fans were still watching quite a few years ago the blame can be placed on WWE eroding their audience away with such a mediocre product they've put out.

They need to keep doing what they're doing. Consistency is the key to long term success and getting ahead of the curve here, not hot shots and finding that one magical ingredient.

It would have been nice if they got that on the show instead of showing Hager and Dos Santos lying around or whatever they were showing at that time.

I've got to say I'll never get tired of seeing Tay and Anna on TV.
