1996 edges it just but 86 has Whitney, Queen, Jackie Wilson, Billy Ocean, Five Star, The Real Thing, Patti LaBelle & Michael McDonald, Peter Cetera among others too.

Yeah, but the songs were weaker. These were like singles #3.

And I think 96 was better. Return of the Mack, You're Making Me High, How Do U Want It, Scooby Snacks, Devil's Haircut, El Scorcho, No Diggity, Hero Of The Day.

Savage garden were good and Darren Hayes can sing. BUT... Paul Kelly was in the charts in 86.

Sure sledgehammer (Which I fucking hate) almost ruins the whole chart.. But Paul Kelly overpowers that..

So I have to go with 86.. also... DANGER ZONE!!!!!
The English language had deteriorated into a hybrid of hillbilly, valleygirl, inner-city slang and various grunts. Joe was able to understand them, but when he spoke in an ordinary voice he sounded pompous and faggy to them.

As for the UK charts. it's a lot closer..
Sure 86 had West End Girls and Walk Of Life
But 96 had Children, Wonderwall and Gangsta's Paradise

On the UK charts, I'd go with 96.. On the local charts I gotta go with 86..
