Ultracore, originally known as Hardcore, is a video game originally developed by Digital Illusions CE AB (now known as EA DICE) in 1994 for the Amiga, Sega Genesis, and Sega CD consoles, but was never released for those formats. The game was salvaged by publisher Strictly Limited and was released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch systems in April 2019, as well as the Mega SG system.

Wow a 3D homebrew game for the Dreamcast! It is cool people are still making games for the Dreamcast but I honestly have no interest in the many shooters and other 2D games that make up most of the DC's homebrew scene. I've always wanted to see a homebrew game that actually utilized the 3D capabilities of the Dreamcast. Finally in 2019 somebody has done just that!

You are right, Cal, it's great seeing something that's not a shooter coming to the Dreamcast.

New old game on old system!

This is like a dream come true project for me, an 1987 Street Fighter port for the Mega Drive/Genesis!

All the art, SFX and the Music (quick YM2151 to YM2612 conversion!) was converted directly from the Arcade.
Backgrounds (tile optimized) from the PC Engine version.

!!!The Music is in a very preliminary state, i simply converted the YM2151 sequences to the YM2612. So it still sucks!!!

-Original Art, Original Sound Effects, Original Music conversions: LinkueiBR (P.H.G.F.)

-Arcade Intro conversion by: Alexsandro Mendes

Playable demo
I haven't posted anything on Intellivania in some time. But it has been slowly coming together. I recorded a little of stage 5 while playing through and looking for bugs and issues to work out.

Pretty much everything is finished. There have been some compromises. The secret treasures found by kneeling or waiting are unlikely to get added, and no form of weapon multipliers exist either. Enemies also don't randomly drop items as they do in the NES game. Besides that, all the levels are there, as well as the bosses, and I also managed to squeeze in the ending.

Nice graphics and music in that one.

Arkagis Revolution is a new game for the Sega Genesis or Mega Drive which is set to launch in 2020. I asked for an early review copy of the game and thankfully got to play it before anyone else did and was thoroughly impressed!
It looks pretty cool but those character designs in the cutscenes are laughably bad.
