I got through the Tomb Raider Reboot recently, enjoyed it but I found the set pieces and quick time events annoying though.

I quite enjoyed the climbing, a Cliffhanger game using that engine would be pretty cool...

Link is just a glorifed errand boy when you think about it. Zelda/the owl/Impa/Midna/Fi etc.. tell him where to go, he gets all his power given to him from sages and great fairies, he can't do anything without the Master Sword/Goddess Sword and he can't even beat Gannon at the end without Zelda's help. What a waster!

Ian is missing some video games and is fucking angry.

So I cleared out most of my 360 stuff... All I kept was a single console, all my controls and only 4 games.. fable 1, 2 and 3 and burnout paradise. I specifically kept those 4 games because I knew I could come back to them..
I was in cash converters the other day and saw a sale on 360 games, so I rebought dead rising and perfect dark 0 for $4 each (after selling the last ones for $7.40 and $13 respectively.)

I go to put the new games with the 4 I specifically kept. and they are gone.
I don't lose anything, I keep collections sorted very well so I'm really fucking pissed I don't have my games.

There's a hole in my shelf, so now I'm thinking if shit's gonna go missing I may as well get rid of everything..

Has anyone noticed how the consoles have clusterfucked menus?

When I got the PS4, I thought it was a bit stupid. The old XMB from the PS3 and PSP was great, and even the 360's last interface was still ok despite some tiles in it (not as good as the blades though). You could find each thing in its own section, then went up or down... now there's drop downs, side menus, top menus, tiles, lists, and overlay menus all jumbled together.

I thought the ps4 was bad compared to the ps3/360.. Then my xbox one finally updated.. WHAT IN THE FUCK?!?!?!

PICK AN INTERFACE TYPE AND USE IT, because Jesus Christ it's fucking EVERYWHERE

Also, Thank god I have the PS4 updated and ready to play wipeout. Because somehow, Rare Replay needs a 10 GB update...
What is there to update exactly?? some of these games are 30 years old, I don't understand why ANY update would be needed for classic games? From what I can see you have to download all the 360 games, what is on the disc exactly?

The disc for 360 is just to make sure you own the game. It has to download the game because it's wrapped in the 360 emulator & dashboard.

Well so much for enjoying Conker... I glitched it out and now can't progress.
I'm pretty sure this glitch didn't exist when I paid $119 for conker back on the 64... So it looks like my options are start again, or give up...
(Still the most expensive game I have ever bought)
And if the glitch did exist on 64, I didn't discover it in 4 playthroughs.
(It's right after you meet the cogs, but before you put the cog on backwards )

Basically I'm at the point where I'd have to start again to fix the glitch.. FUCK THAT FOR A JOKE.. I've beaten this game multiple times.. I'm not going to fucking restart because some fucking wanker can't fucking code a fucking remake properly... I just wanted to have some fun for fucks sake...

Tempted to sell all this xbox one shit for another single copy of conker on 64, so I can play a game that was fucking made properly!! Didn't need a single update, Didn't need a single patch, Didn't need DLC, Didn't need A reissue.. AND SOME FUCKING HOW, THE GAME FUCKING WORKED, AND WAS ENJOYABLE!!!!
A GOOD FUCKING GAME WAS MADE A FUCKING GOOD GAME FROM DAY FUCKING ONE!
If a game had problems, IT WAS A FUCKING BAD GAME... PERIOD!!!

If your game needs day one (OR EVEN YEAR ONE) patches, updates, DLC, or anything else, Then you FUCKING SUCK AS A DEVELOPER, and should give up and hang yourself.

Somehow, They fucked up a game that FUCKING WORKED.......

Speaking of Conker, there's some repro carts floating around eBay for £24.99. They look pretty decent for that much,
